I started Black Sheep during the first year of my MM at BoCo after becoming increasingly frustrated with the number of performance opportunities my school had to offer composition majors. I remember coming home one evening after classes and turning to Liam, my then roommate, and saying "Let's start a new music duo." And that's exactly what we did.

The group has progressed further than I ever could have hoped. We have collaborated with artists, musicians, and dancers and created some truly innovative works. We will continue to grow and progress, but we don't run solely on our own ambition and love for music.
Supporting Black Sheep not only helps us to continue to create more new music, but also helps to educate the community about what we do and cultivates a love for it along the way. We are a non-profit Fractured Atlas sponsored group, meaning donations made to us are tax deductible! Please consider supporting BSCE to allow us to continue making new music and sharing it with others. -Nicole DeMaio
